Local Care Provider Association (LCPA) Benefits

  1. Eligibility for Membership of Care Association Alliance, a national network of local trade associations which provides Care Providers across the country with a voice direct to the people in authority. The Association Alliance has held meetings and discussions with various Health ministers and leaders of organisations such as the Care Quality Commission.
  2. LCPAs enables Care Providers to share best practice, experience, success and failure between members.
  3. LCPAs fosters co-operation between Care Providers by providing information, training course, support and guidance to promote high standards of care, meetings (such as with Commissioners) and other events to increase Care Providers self-confidence locally in their discussions and negotiations with local authorities and NHS CCG’. This way, LCPAs support care organisations to grow and develop so that they increasingly influence key decisions, particularly those that with a local impact
  4. LCPAs facilitate a co-ordinated approach to workforce development whilst maximising the opportunity to pool resources, knowledge and skills.
  5. LCPAs Support Care Providers with their own recruitment and retention strategies such as social media recruitment strategy, careers fairs at local schools/colleges
  6. LCPAs will serve as a vehicle for delivering local issues direct to key decision makers in the health and social care industry;
  7. LCPAs undertake various special projects from time to time such as developing international recruitment and retention strategies.
